EPS - .eps files are Standard in both the Printing and Sign industries. Just make sure the letter styles (fonts) are converted to curves before exporting as am .eps file. EPS is the type that we would suggest for the best graphic results.
TIFF - .tiff files are typically higher quality images because they are not compressed. We highly recommend .tiff files be saved at a minimum of 300 DPI ( dots per inch ) at the final output size.
For large signs such as Banners a lower resolution may be ok.
JPG - .jpeg files are one of the most common image file formats around, and often work quite well for printing multi-color, full-color and photographic images. .tiff files are much better, but most .jpeg files work just fine especially when saved at the highest quality setting of at least 300 DPI at the final output size.
Reworking and Resaving JPEG images will detiriorate the quality. JPEG image for Great For large signage.
BMP - .bmp files are typically low quality images and do not enlarge well for images that need to be printed big. If you send us artwork in this file format, we will let you know right away if it is unacceptable quality for your unique project.
PDF - .pdf files are becoming increasingly popular, especially in the printing industry. When sending us your artwork as a .pdf file, be sure to embed fonts, or converted to curves before exporting. Alternatively please send custom fonts together with artwork.
